I’ve spent 3 nights at the Dibaita Puflatschhuette and didn’t want to leave again. At the end I felt so comfortable in this hut that I was about to step behind the bar to help myself whenever I was thirsty!

Location of the Dibaita Puflatschhuette

The Dibaita hut has a very special view over the valley and you can see as far as Bressanone which lays 30 kms away from the Seiser Alm. The view from up there is absolutely stunning and always made me smile every time I looked out of the window. The sunrise and sunsets were small highlights during the days up there. So far away from everything and you finally have a little bit of time while enjoying the quietness of nature.

The service of the Dibaita Puflatschhuette

Karin and the other staff of the Dibaita Puflatschhuette were absolutely amazing. They invited us to learn how to make traditional dumplings, they took us everywhere with their skidoo and shared their knowledge of the region with us. Every day we had great breakfast and for dinner we had a 3 course menu which changed every day!

Prices of the Dibaita Puflatschhuette

The Dibaita Puflatschhütte is easily one of the cheapest accommodations at the Seiser Alm. Prices start at 27 € per person the night for bed and breakfast. You can’t find anything better I think! The half board starts at 41 € and includes a delicious 3 courses dinner!

My Personal Highlight at the Dibaita Puflatschhuette

My personal highlight was to see the day start while overlooking the valley and starting the ski day right from the doorstep. All you had to do after breakfast was to put your skies on and off you went down the hills of the Seiser Alm. And in the afternoon you only had to take them off and you were at home. No cable cars, no driving, it can’t get better than this!

Disclaimer: I was invited to the Dibaita Puflatschhuette by Seiser Alm Tourism. However, they never asked for a positive review and I think that everybody visiting the Seiser Alm in winter or summer should book this great place!
